INVITE

Hello Friends!
I would like to invite you to join in a Halloween specific
Community outreach activity

Would you be interested in learning some fun Halloween pumpkin carols with the goal of then going caroling? This would be something like the old fashion style Christmas caroling. I will pick a neighborhood of friends or family, a retirement facility, or even a hospital setting to offer silly, festive smiles.

I’m already in conversation with Activities Directors at a few potential locations. I do think it would be fun if this were a FAMILY ACTIVITY!!

The carols are quite simple and make people smile every time I use them.  Rehearsing 1 hour, once a week up to the weekend before Halloween would be perfect. Even the rehearsals are sure to make you smile.

Rehearsal Scheduling options:
Tuesdays – late afternoon
Thursdays – late afternoon
Saturdays – late afternoon

** Times TBD, depending on your availability, realizing different households may choose different haunting rehearsal days. Later we can all gather for our designated caroling event. I will pursue feedback via a simple handwritten survey with families who participate as to optimal caroling schedule.

My thoughts: I see possibilities for choosing a caroling time (maybe 2?) late afternoon/early evening, sometime during the days of October 27 through October 31.

Cost? None! This activity is free to you and your family. If you feel inclined, I would graciously accept a donation to the nonprofit IPOA to support its ongoing efforts in making a positive impact in our beautiful Albuquerque community

Theme I – September 5th thru September 21st                                                      $95
SEPTEMBER:  FUN WITH FOLK MUSIC & INSTRUMENTS

Theme II – September 26th thru October 26th                                                   $135
OCTOBER:  PUMPKIN CAROLS & TAKIN’ DOWN PERILS: NO FEAR IN HERE

Theme III – November 2nd thru November 30th                                                 $115
NOVEMBER:  THANKS & GIVING HUMBLY GRATEFUL OR GRUMBLY HATEFUL?  ATTITUDE 101

Theme IV FINALE – December 5th thru December 21st                                       $95
DECEMBER:  LUV~LUV~LUV!! AND GOODWILL TOWARD ALL!

All four themes will end with a SHOWCASE.

Session Schedule:

1st – 5th grades:    Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:15pm
6th – 8th grades:   Tuesdays 5:30 – 7:00pm

9th – 12th grades:  Thursdays 4:30 – 6:00pm
ALL participants:  Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00pm (for a practice showcase)

May be paid in two payments: $200 by September 7th and $175 by September 28th
