Anastasia Habiger-Doxon
My name is Anastasia and I have a Bachelors of Science in Education, Physical Education Degree from the University of New Mexico. I struggled in my own education journey as English was not my first language when I first came to America after being adopted from Ukraine. Learning was difficult and at times felt impossible to me especially as I pursued a degree in College. The passion I have for teaching stems from a want to be there for children who are struggling with their learning. The most important thing I believe as an educator I can contribute is meeting the unique and different needs of each individual in a way that helps them transform as a whole being. Physical Education is what I like to call the chameleon of education because it is a tool that can be used to explore and create many experiences that help shape a child’s education journey.
